Consumerfed will set up 1600 Onam Co-operative markets across the State for this Onam. 13 items of consumer goods will be available at 50% discount. Subsidized items will be available at 30% – 100% discount and non-subsidized items at 10% – 40% discount from the public market. A token system is introduced to avoid crowding in the Onam market centers.

Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (KCMMF)’s special Onam Milma kit is available for Rs 297. Milma Kit includes Palada Mix, Ghee, Milk, Vegetable Biryani Mix and Gulab Jamun.

Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation Limited (KSCDC)’s cashew nuts are available at a 15% discount.

Organic vegetables collected from the farmers in collaboration with Kerala State Horticultural Products Development Corporation (Horticorp) and the coconut oils produced directly by the Cooperative societies will be on sale.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate Consumerfed’s Onam markets on August 29 at Thiruvananthapuram.
